It stays on your device. Your inputs are saved in your browser’s localStorage under the key windowquote.settings and are never sent to a server. You can clear them anytime by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings. The only thing we ever receive by design is your Early Access form, and only if you choose to submit it.

In four steps:

1. Subtotal = exterior windows × price, plus interior, screens, and tracks
2. If Difficult Access is on, an access fee of 25% of the subtotal is added
3. Travel / trip cost is added
4. The final quote is the higher of that total or your minimum charge

Every number appears in the in-page breakdown, including when the minimum charge was applied.

No — it’s an example modifier. We include 25% so you can see how an access fee changes a quote, but you should set your own rate for your market (ladders, second-storey work, restricted paths, and so on).

Whenever the calculated quote comes out lower than your minimum charge, the final quote is bumped up to the minimum — and the page says so. That way, the quote you send always reflects what you actually charged.

No, it’s part of the free calculator. Enter an estimated job time, your labor rate, and supplies, and it shows profit, margin, and your effective hourly rate — so you can spot jobs that aren’t worth taking. If hours are left at 0, the hourly rate shows a dash rather than a misleading number.
